On the occasion of the Red Panda International Day, join in the great charity raffle in honor of Red Panda Network and try to win a multitude of prizes! The objective is to raise funds for Red Panda Network, an association that protects red pandas in their natural environment in Nepal.
Red pandas are endangered in the wild, particularly due to poaching and deforestation. There would be less than 10,000 left in their natural environment.
The Red Panda Network association, supported since 2015 by Play for Nature, acts jointly with local authorities and communities for the protection of the red panda and its natural environment in Nepal.
With less than 2,500 individuals in the wild, the red panda is classified as endangered by the IUCN (2017). The association recruits and trains forest guards who patrol the territory to fight against poaching and fires.
