ACB CÔTE D'IVOIRE

ACB-Côte d’Ivoire is an association that has been working to protect biodiversity in Côte d’Ivoire’s natural environments since 2008.

ACB CÔTE D'IVOIRE

Action for the Conservation of Biodiversity in Côte d’Ivoire (ACB Côte d’Ivoire) aims to develop a real environmental awareness for the preserving of biodiversity in the natural environments of Côte d’Ivoire. This involves raising public awareness about conservation issues by popularizing research results and carrying out environmental education initiatives in schools and universities. ACB Côte d’Ivoire also seeks to promote protected areas to show their potential and importance in order to raise awareness among authorities of the need for more rigorous enforcement and reinforcement of nature protection laws. The association also supports local initiatives that contribute to the sustainable management of natural resources.

Our support

We support ACB Côte d’Ivoire in its sports project to raise awareness. This event will consist of two competitions, a football tournament and a marathon, which will take place around the Voluntary Nature Reserve of the Tanoé-Ehy Marsh Forest, a sanctuary for several endangered animal species. This project aims to raise awareness and educate local communities about the sustainable management of natural resources and the need to conserve the reserve’s biodiversity and ecosystems through the practice of sport. The funds raised will cover the costs of sports and communications equipment, transport, refreshments for runners and the medical team.
