Yacoli Village Open School is an NGO, founded in 2013, with the objectives of reducing extreme poverty, promoting the resilience of rural communities and contributing to nature conservation in Ivory Coast and West Africa.
YVEO supports the local development of communities that are farthest from the state services. These missions consist of accompanying the country’s macro-economic development at the local level, with the involvement of communities in the conservation of biodiversity and mitigation of the effects of climate change.
We support the organisation of the Days of Tong-il Sport Conservation in Ivory Coast. This is a sports event organised by the association that includes martial arts demonstrations and initiations as well as a sports walk. The aim is to bring sports players together towards the challenges of protecting biodiversity in order to highlight the advantages of sport as a tool to protect natural resources.
